The geothermal manifold is an important device for hydraulic balancing of the geothermal probe, for venting the system and for individual control of the probes.
Chamber for installation of the geothermal heating manifold outside the building. A manifold chamber keeps condensation away from the building, provides easy access for technicians and eliminates the need for a mechanical room.
Our well access pits made of plastic chambers are significantly lighter, do not require complex core drilling, have prefabricated connections and can be installed quickly. These are advantages that conventional concrete rings do not have.

A manifold chamber is a central element in a geothermal heating system that serves as a connection point between the geothermal loop circuits and the heat pump. The manifold chamber contains the geothermal manifold, which enables hydraulic balancing of the geothermal loop circuits, allows simple venting of the system and ensures individual control of each ground loop circuit.
GNV offers various manifold chamber sizes for different requirements - from the compact GN Box Mini for small detached houses with 2-4 ground loop circuits to the large GN X2 with up to 44 ground loop circuits for local heating networks, district solutions or large projects such as schools or industrial buildings. The selection of the right chamber manifold depends on the number of geothermal loop circuits and the local conditions. GNV manifold chambers offer numerous advantages over conventional concrete solutions: They are significantly lighter and therefore easier to transport and install, have prefabricated connections and are completely watertight. Our manifold chambers are also more durable, corrosion-resistant and available in various load classes up to D400 (40 tons).
Yes, GNV manifold chambers can also be retrofitted into existing geothermal systems. When expanding or modernizing a system, a new manifold chamber can significantly improve the efficiency of the overall system. We offer customized solutions for retrofits and extensions and support you with the correct dimensioning and installation.
The correct dimensioning of a manifold chamber is based on several factors: Number of geothermal ground loop circuits, flow rate per loop circuit, total output of the heat pump, space available on site and future expansion plans. A GN R Compact is often sufficient for a detached house, while the GN 2 series or our GN X series are recommended for larger projects such as apartment buildings or commercial properties. The geothermal manifold is the technical component responsible for hydraulic balancing and controlling the individual geothermal ground loop circuits. It consists of distribution beams, flow meters, shut-off valves and other fittings. The manifold chamber, on the other hand, is the housing in which the geothermal heating manifold is installed. GNV offers both high-quality geothermal heating manifolds and the matching manifold chambers, which are optimally matched to each other.
GNV offers geothermal heating manifolds in various designs: I-shape (linear), L-shape (angled) and U-shape (parallel). The choice of design depends on the spatial conditions and the number of geothermal ground loops to be connected. The I-shape is suitable for a small number of connections, while the L- and U-shape offer more convenience for the installer or connector if there are numerous ground loop connections. For complex requirements, we also develop special shapes that are optimally tailored to your project.
